Art is good for you. When ARTnews wanted to start a publication just for kids, we developed a prototype issue that talks about art in a way that's accessible and fun, but assumes its young readers are just as smart as anybody else is. The cover is big and bold, just like the Oldenburg piece on it. The story about artifacts from Sipán, Peru explains some of the mystery surrounding their origins. And when collector Bill Cosby told ARTnews for Students he had become interested in art because of comic books, we made the interview into one.
